The Amaryllis Is Just About To Bloom

 As you can see the Amaryllis is just about to burst open with it's beautiful white and pink flowers.  I think all it will take is one sunny day.  I just wish we would have a sunny day because it's been snowing, freezing rain and then raining almost every day for the last 4 days now.  Honestly winter can go now.

Holy Cow The Amaryllis Grows Quickly

Here is the mighty Amaryllis plant that is growing so quickly.  I picked up the kit two weeks ago and this is what it looks like now.  I can't wait until the two flowers open.  I will be sure to keep posting photos as it grows so that everyone can see.

You know you can't keep me out of the dirt for very long.  Over the Christmas holidays I bought an Amaryllis plant that is just starting to get some leaves.  It's going to be a very beautiful white and pink flower in a few weeks.  It may be winter but that's no excuse not to get your hands dirty.  The seed catalogue came the other day so I have started to figure out what I will plant next year.  So far I know for sure that Roma Tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower and zucchini will have a home in my garden but I'm also considering some other vegetables as well.  I'm just doing a little research to see what will grow well in our zone.
