One Last Pepper Ripened Inside The House

When I was cleaning up the garden I brought in this half ripe pepper.  Over the last few days it ripened on the table and yesterday Neal at it.  It was really good.

The other green things are the tomatoes.  I don't think they will ripen before they go bad.  None of us are up for fried green tomatoes.

The Pepper Tastes Good

The other night we had the red pepper and I have to say it tasted really good.  I don't even like peppers but it did taste good.

We've Picked The Pepper

We have finally picked the confused pepper.  It's no longer confused as it turned red.  Neal is going to taste it tonight with his dinner and report back on the taste.  There is still one more pepper that is still green.

We are going to start to put the garden to bed for the winter.  We have to pull out the tomato cages and take up the rubber walkways and turn the soil so that it can breath over winter.
