I went out to have a look at the garden this evening and things look not so lush anymore. We need some nice steady rain and cooler temperatures. I picked one small cucumber and a few peas. There doesn't seem to be any further zucchinis forming.
Our plums are just about ready for picking. I picked one just to try it and within a day or two they should be ready to eat. They are still a little sour. I can't wait to try the neighbour's pears. Within a week or two they should be ready to make baked pears with.
