The End Is Near For This Year's Garden

September 1, 2011 and I've pulled out half of my garden.  Because of the intense heat and lack of rain this growing season didn't go so well.  We had only a handful of little snow peas, 4 zucchini, 2 cucumbers, no potatoes, no garlic and a ton of Roma tomatoes.  The only thing that did rather well were the Roma tomatoes.  We did have some bottom rot on some of them but still had enough to make it a good growing season for the tomatoes at least.  I also ended up with two Italian zucchini plants that had some really pretty flowers but no actual zucchini.  What a waste.
