It's still extremely hot and humid and the plants are suffering.
We've gotten some rain, but mostly in large amounts at once and then
nothing. That's why the zucchinis are oddly shaped. We have finally
gotten two peas. Neal ate them last night and said that they tasted
very good. The two green Roma tomatoes are because some animal knocked
them off the plant. I am trying to see if they will ripen or not. The
beans keep on coming! We've got a lot of kale too from one plant. Now
the only thing that isn't doing all that well is the broccoli. We are
getting some but not a lot.
There is some exciting news
for next year's garden. We are expanding! Last week we got a new
fence. The guys left us some extra wood so we will be able to build
another plot. It's all very exciting. Photos to come soon.
